You want to [show] soldiers some respect? Don't get me wrong, the personal thanks feel good, especially the belated thanks to us Nam Vets. You want to show some respect for the troops? Stand up!, put your hand over your heart when you hear this!Teach your kids to do it too. This is more than a "song" to those who have returned from a war. And don't you EVER forget! The man America just elected the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces doesn't have enough respect for HIS troops to do it!

Second Chance Prom in Review
Robb Hipps, President of the Englewood-Cape Haze Kiwanis Club accepts a check from Ken Birdsong of WENG Radio. The check represents the proceeds from the Second Chance Prom and is a donation from the radio station to be used by all clubs in the Division 18S for community projects. The Kiwanis Club meets at Steamers Restaurant at 750 N. Indiana Ave. in Englewood at 12 noon. Visitors are welcome. Call Robb at (941) 475-1324 for more information.
